Radio Prabasi is independent and free online broadcasting radio created by dynamic youths living in abroad. We came together with motto of introducing Nepalese culture around the globe. We believe in entertaining and informing everybody around the world together by broadcasting online music in different languages. Listeners also tune to our interviews, current news stories, literature and comedy with our professional DJ’s.
Living and resettling in third country is full of tragedy with friends and relatives and post resettlement may come with social, cultural and psychological socks. We broadcast deuda, bhangra, pop, English Blues, classical Nepali and English music with purbeli lok geet and rap.
The Internet and social media offer a unique and diverse way to communicate and come together in diaspora, and unite for common cause and positive changes.
As families and friends were already scattered across the world, our online portal aim to bring all virtually together via Radio Prabasi. One of the current program that foster unity and connection of our people is our live radio every Saturday and during festivals, in which listeners can call in via Skype (RadioPrabasi) and share their thoughts, music, comments and messages.
